Self-Love on Valentine's Day

Self-Love on Valentine’s Day

I linger over smooth, dark chocolate

read love poems, reminisce ... and enjoy
a happy-ever-after movie on TV.

I give myself pink roses (traditionally
a symbol of friendship, not passion).
The pink have the sweetest scent.

  4. Loved this Rosemary. I really must try the Cherita form when writing; almost like having a box of dark chocolates for oneself!

  18. This is sweet, a pretty verse showing how to make the best when being alone. I had to relearn how again before Mrs. Jim came along.
Those were happy days zipping along on the scooter. Mine was a green Vespa, I'd like to have one again.
