And then I wrote no more haiku for March, on Friday or any day. Ah well.



Tanka on Tuesday, March  '21

gifts at my door

bright flowers in water

(in a glass jar)

a local thunder egg

home-grown bananas


being of light

creator of gardens

doer of art

she flits up my front steps

unseen like a fairy
